Certification

The Veal Quality Assurance (VQA) program was first developed in 1990 and is designed to provide animal care and production standards that assure consumers and customers that the veal they enjoy is reliable in quality and raised in a socially responsible manner. The beef Checkoff VQA is a voluntary program that requires veal farmers, veterinarians, animal health companies, feed companies, processors to follow high standards of safety and animal care.
